Knocking Front Suspension

i have just brought my c3 ,1.4 ,2002,it has a knocking noise on the front suspension,is there a commom thing that goes ,its only done 70000 miles ,thanks steve

Could be a broken spring.If so make sure it is replaced with a genuine Citroën spring.

if the spring was broke then the car would not sit straight ?

take a look at your antiroll bar bushes the ones that the bar runs through that are atached to the cross memberit only takes a little play to cause a knock .

Knocking on our car was from worn anti roll bar drop links, difficult to tell even when removed from the car but once replaced the noise had gone. The MOT tester had advised wear in one of them.
