Knocking Noise In Reverse

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me. I sort of went up then down a curb today when trying to park :rolleyes: I was only going about 5mph so didnt hit it hard. Since then when I reverse with the steering wheel full lock it makes a loud donk noise and feels like im running over something :( It only seems to make this noise when in reverse and turning the wheel to the left.

 

If anyone could help me i would really appreciate it :)

With the steering on the full lock which makes the noise, have a look under the car to see if anything has been bent and possibly catching the front wheel which went over the curb.

The plastic wheel arch cover is easily cracked, especially when cold.

 

As said, get the wheels over hard lock one way then the other and have a look see...if it's broken it will probably be towards the back of the N/S wheel at the bottom dge of the liner, should be able to clip it back in place subsidised with a cable tie or two to stich it together if necessary for the time being.
