madtheswine99 Posted December 6, 2010 Posted December 6, 2010 During the cold weather my gear stick is frozen,or at least i think it is.I can only use 3rd, and 4th gear until i get going a while and then everything is alright.This only happens in really very low temps outside.Would wd40 squirted in help or not,or any other people having this problem.Any help appreciated. paul.h Posted December 15, 2010 Posted December 15, 2010 Had nothing at all like this on our C3 in 3½ years. WD40 may wash off the grease. Try a look under the lever rubber boot to see if anything obvious. Also check if selector cable ball joints are worn or need greasing - Haynes may help. Quote
