Hi all, hope someone can help, and that its a quick enough fix! Basically my heater only works on HI or not at all, so its either very hot or it just blows cold air. Its a 52 plate, I have checked the fuse but I figured that seeing as how it works on the highest temp anyway it wouldnt be that. Any help much appreciated, thanks!!

If you have climate control then maybe the flap that controls the air flow across the heater is sticking - could be a fault with the motor that moves it.

Hi,

It will be the resistor pack that controls fan motor speed.

It is loacated on the LHS of the drivers foot well, towards the front and up near the undeside of the dash.

It fits into te heater b;ower housing in the blower air flow to ensure it is cooled.

It is held in place by a single silver T20 Torx screw.

A torch is essential to see what you are doing, also move the seat back to give max access room.

Undo the screw and the module will pull free with a bit of "jiggleing" (to quote Arkwright)

Connector just pulls free but is best left in place while removing as the cable is useful to jiggle with!

On the "manual " air con or "no air con" models there is a single connector.

On the "Auto" air con there are there are two connectors.

Both modules cost about £50 from citroen.

Part number for a 52 plate manual air con is 6441.Q7

Refitting is the reverse of removal.

Regards

John
