Hi Everyone

Hope soeone can help. My windscreen washer has packed up thought it might be the fuse, so opened the bonnet and took out the fuse and sure enough it had blown. So I replaced it still no joy so took that fuse had blown too. Im guessing now it ust be the washe pump thats gone as the fuses keep blowing. Wheres it located on C3 and is it an easy job to replace it? and how much would it cost me? many thanks hope someone can help

Before you go to the trouble of removing the washer pump, are you sure it is not just frozen up due to this lovely weather we are experiencing?

If it is frozen the pump will just stall and maybe that is what is blowing the fuses.

Try some methylated spirits mixed in with the screenwash water, this should de-ice it and keep it that way. Certainly worth a try.

If the washer jets have frozen on our C3, the pump fuse will always blow if it is tried to run the washer pump for more than a second or so. Once melted though things are ok so the pump should not need replacing.
