OK I need some advice please

Cars suspension now working as it should BUT:

I have a feeling its riding slightly high in the NORMAL position

Having searched the site I can only find 'take it to the dealer' advice

Does anyone know what the standard reference ride height should be (or the range parameters)

and how do you measure the ride height - i.e. reference points used etc.

Thanks in advance

With BXs and Xantias it was possible to check the ride height and correct it by moving the correctors. AFAIK the C5s need to be put on a Lexia to check and alter the ride height.

Thanks I had read that the ride height can only be checked by the robbing b's at Citroen

What I was trying to establish was whether the ride height is indeed too high (or just my imagination) before I go to the garage to get it corrected

Thanks

I suppose if you measure the distance between top of tyre and lower edge of the wheel arch on a couple of C5s then compare the figures with your own car, that should give you some idea whether it's normal. Measurements between bump stop and ground is the way it's done on Xantias.

If you look on citroen service under the repair manual it tells you that you can adjust the ride height manually and gives the measurements and the points to measure from to the ground with diagrams.
