Guest Leading Hand Posted February 17, 2011 Posted February 17, 2011 Does anyone know what 15" wheels will fit a C5 2003 HDi? The centreless ones on mine go out of balance a lot, and a balance costs a fortune! Also my car pulls to the left a bit on the motorway despite having had a four wheel alignment, leading to the belief that one of the wheels may be buggered, (car has four brand new tyres), any help would be great thanks! paul.h Posted February 17, 2011 Posted February 17, 2011 What make of tyres have you got ? If the wheels are causing pulling to one side, swap them over and see if it pulls the other way, but also see if any of the brakes are binding by spinning each wheel when jacked up. Check to see if the track rod ends are equal distance along the rod threads - if badly adjusted by being done on on side only, then I have had this cause pulling to one side. Quote

By "centreless" do you mean fixed centres, that can't be removed for balancing? This shouldn't be a problem for a decent tyre centre - they should have the attachment to bolt the wheels onto the balancing machine, and certainly should not charge extra for that. Quote
