Guest dave2011 Posted February 19, 2011 Posted February 19, 2011 hi all.i took the synergie into the garage yesterday to get fixed n it looks like it may need a new pump fitting. :( is there any other cars besides the synergie/pug 806 and ulysie that have the same engine/pump? im getting pretty desperate now to get this sorted as its costing me a fortune in fuel n the fact that my mk4 escort xr3i is better on fuel than the synergie is a bit of a joke. B) also is there any kind or sevice kit for the diesel pumps for my model? any help on this is greatly apreciated as im so close to getting rid of the damn thing. Quote
paul.h Posted February 19, 2011 Posted February 19, 2011 If you register on the service.citroen.com site (as a member of a car club is allowed) you can see the same parts diagrams and parts nos. as at a Citroen dealer. Then you can get your pump part no. and then input it to see which other cars it will fit. It may also show if repair kits are available. On the C5 problems and fixes subforum there were a number of posts started 18/12/2010 (last post 7/1/2011) by SJE32 who DIY replaced a leaking seal on a 2.2 hdi high pressure diesel pump. It includes the supplier details who can provide all the seals for the pump and also notes it is the same pump on the C8. Quote
