Sounds like the light at the end of the tunnel may well be visible! -_-
-
Well, not any nice modified ones! -_- Have seen some that look a real mess! not yours though B) Oh, and yours wont be the only nicely modified one either! :D I have a few plans up my sleeve :D
-
YES!! -_- Definitely now that my car is black! :D
-
I know they would help keep the mud from the fronts, because i had mud on the sides each time it got slightly damp, but one time after it had dried, it actually looked pretty cool! :P Looked like a very suttle graphic :D The back ones look cool on a black car, they almost add to the lines of the car.

I would definitely need to see a real life picture, not sure i like it that much, but may look nice in real life. It's like when you see a colour on a car in a brochure and it looks crap, but in real life it looks good, or visa versa. I was not keen on the black from photos, but when i saw it in the flesh it looked awesome!

Anyone got any pics?? I had the C4 Accessories brochure, but cant find it atm, and the Citroen Accessories site is STILL DOWN!!!! :P Doesn't it have the same rear end as the VTS??
-
I do that too! :D Then something a bit more.....umm.......obvious! :P
-
Dont the Dutch also have a book, which lists all the number plates of cars on the road along with the drivers adresses? I could have done with that a couple of times :D hmmmm.............and, you could get a fit girls contact details :D :P

Are 3 Door Hatches Safe For Rear Passengers?
Ciaran2903 replied to fuelguage's topic in C4 - Technical
You will be lucky if they fit in the boot :P :D I get them in the boot, piece of piss, as i said, take the driver out of both bags, put the bags in (one on top of each other) then place the drivers on the top, and there is still loads of room, shoes, clothes, hats, etc etc including my emergency bag and triangle. I bet fuel gague could even squash a dead body in their! :P -
My dad recently had his 3.0 litre jag on the higher side of 30 MPG! :P

The boot seems to be large in my opinion, get two sets of golf clubs easy peesy! :P with room to spare! (but you do have to take out the drivers (the golf clubs that is! :P :D) I find it rather easy to get items in the rear seats, but the seats do roll back on the casters wich can be annoying. The looks far exceed the (minor) impracticalities! -

I think that if the rear quarter on the 3-door did not have any crash bars (or something to the same effect) then they would not recieve the same crash test rating. They are built on the same basis, hence the design award! :D (amongst many other awards :P  ) -
In France, if someone flashes you, it means they are taking priority! That could get nasty! :P

Both cars are Euro N-cap 5-Star! The doors should hold up pretty well in an accident, because they are part of the strong structure rather than the crumple zone. In my accident, the door, although caved in, remanied perfectly useable, i had to get in and out for details etc. Anyone saw the "Top Gear" episode when they showed crash tested cars? In the safer cars the doors remained pretty much sound, whilst in the less safe cars, the doors crumpled and therefore offered no structural strenght. -
I dont like halogen lights as they distract my eyes (best explanation i could come up with :P ), because they seem to change colour as height is changed. I thought that the brighter bulbs were different?!? :D I HATE it when people drive with there fogs on!!! :P My display picture was a photography exercise and no insight to my lighting whilst driving!!!! (we discussed this in an older thread! ) i think i may have to put a disclamer on my sig! :D :P
-
That reminds me, the modified C4 that i saw had the headlight "eyebrows/covers", didn't look AS bad as i does on pics i have seen :P Still looked bad though :D
-
wait a sec, i wasn't even a member when you joined! :P but welcome all the same! :D
-
yep, seen you round :P a late welcome :P Nice car you got there! I agree with your mods list! Should look great! I reckon VTS alloys (or other alloys to your taste) should be number 1! Then stips, then lowering kit. Then it will look awesome! I have exactly the same plans for my car! :D But dont worry, it is black so it won't look the same!

What is banned?? Cruise control?!? :P
-
I am pretty sure that the citroen ones were cheaper than that, and claimed to be 25% brighter than standard bulbs. But that could be utter bullshit, i didnt really take much intrest in them, just wanted to get out of the Crawley Citroen asap!!!! :P
-
Isn't there a 30-day no quibble return?? Im sure Citroen do that! This is on the citroen used car website! It does say that you have to exchange it for any other used citroen from the same retailer, so they may not have what you want, but could they not let you wait?!? :P

There was some1 on here that had mudflaps. They looked great on a black car, not sure if they would look as good on another coloured car. I think that they also said that they did not seem to helo agaist the rear end dust/mud or whatever that is a bit of a problem with the coupe. I wouldn't mind seeing that pick again now that my car is black.

I think it is do do with the energy it uses, and the fact that the engine ends up charging the battery and therefore has to charge the battery more often. But that is only based on what i think! I dont have anything to back it up! It just seems to make sence! :P Not sure if the cruise control effects MPG, i would amagine so, but only slightly. I do know that it is more efficient to have the air con on after 50MPH and anything slower it is more efficient to have the windows down, and this time its proven, not just me thinking! :P I love using the cruise control, came back from brighton on the dual carriage way, set the cruise to 75MPH and had it on for about 15 mile straight! :D Just need that armrest and it will be great on long hauls!! :D
-
But whose fault was that! :P Bet you had a nice night though :D How would someone going about doing that?!? Is that a "Standard" "One fits all" clear bulb? :P or a special part?!?
