  1. again no year make model or any thing. so cant answer
  2. depending on the year a 2liter xsara one might fit. I take it there stupid money at the dealers. mind a very common fault on them is the fuel pump
  3. cant really answer this for you as we havnt a clue what car year or engine it is
  4. just a daft one. you have got lds fluid in the reservoir . when was the last time it was checked
  5. yes the hubs are the same
  6. Plug it in and see what coadess you have also check live data when lifting and lowering
  7. Have you tried the dealer for the battery clamp. battereys are getting smaller yet give out more power
  8. Also check to see if there isnt a pool of water under the where the washer bottle is as sometimes the pipes pop off once theyve been disturbed
  9. i dont think this is electrical or programming as when the immobilizer kicks in the engine will crank over but not fire up. check your battery and all earth connections. next is check the starter motor and the ignition barrel. you might have to remove the starter to get it checked out properly
  10. have u got hill assist on the car. this eats the pads and disc
  11. This whole situation just dosnt seem right at all. Get straight onto citroen uk and tell them its a 3k car with full dealer service to break down with such a major fault is just wrong on every level. ask the dealer how they have diagnosed the ecu. If the dpf is full then the car wont run as the exhaust gases cant escape and will result in every sensor going daft on the car. And as paul has already said bba remain can fix them at a fraction of the cost
  12. where you moving to seefive. down landudno quite a bit as we have a fiend that lives in landullals
  13. Change the fluid in your gearbox and replace the comm unit
  14. 5 w 30 but MUST be low saps oil. better off going to the dealers for it as you will know its the right oil
  15. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Peugeot-308-Citroen-Synergie-Wheel-Nut-Parts-/282637107135?hash=item41ce7bffbf:g:4RMAAOSw9EJZrE~w http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CITROEN-SYNERGIE-PEUGEOT-806-2000-reg-BREAKING-WIPER-MOTOR-/152665858865?hash=item238b982331:g:F~QAAOSwgn1ZlByb http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Citroen-Synergie-110-HDi-BREAKING-Peugeot-806-Fiat-Ulysses-for-spares-wheel-nut/322095468494?_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIM.MBE%26ao%3D2%26asc%3D20140122125356%26meid%3D98c9e810d716484e84f2a751fe7321e8%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D5%26rkt%3D6%26sd%3D152665858865&_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851 All the same car so any dash or hub of these will fit. if u scroll down any page theres loads more for spares. but if youve got the space id go for this as a donor car to have at hand and will save u money in the long run. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Citroen-Synergie-1996-NON-RUNNER-/272840324900?hash=item3f868cf724:g:obYAAOSwtS1ZpZ9h
  16. dont think they can as acsess in a emergency would be proplem
  17. change the lds fluid . at 2007 your running on 10 year old fluid that has obly ever bee topped up
  18. rescan it and see what codes come up now
  19. thats a awful lot af replacement parts for a car with 90 k on it... the fault is as paul said its the clutch/dmf. I know you've said you've replaced it but that was that all of it or just the clutch/pressure plate and thrust bearing
  20. hydrocarbons is unburnt fuel and is always mostly down to the cat or an ignition component. is your cat giving off an egg/sulphur smell and did he check all the sensors with a multi meter. Also a split vacum pipe would cause this, are there any codes coming up
  21. sometime they just take a little while ti bed in. did u remove the film of grease that they put on them
  22. change your lds fluid 1st because if it hasnt been changed it means its 14 years old. also depending on the spec level you might have a anti sink valve. when these go you get the symptoms your describing
  23. At one time each vehicle had its own method of connecting to the ecu. 2004 they were all told to be the same and they chose the 16pin connector. Thee reason behind this was that it gave a lot of spare pins on the connector so future cars can have more pins if needed and yet still allow older machines to connect still. Nearly all still only use 4 or 4 pins for connection though
  24. really just forget about the glow plug at the minute. .check the spill return pipes also diesel filter and basicly all of the fuel system for leaks. also is the starter motor turning the engine over fast enough ans finally have u got access to diagnostics
  25. depending on the install it might be the lpg side of things that shuts the power off to the fuel side of things .
