  1. The Blaupunkt RD4 unit has 2 Aux outlets - 1 is used for the CD Multichanger which leaves 2 free unless you have a mobile phone kit fitted which doesn't work on Aux 1 - only Aux 2 Take a look at This FAQ for some images and wiring instructions The Blaupunkt RD4 unit has 2 Aux outlets - 1 is used for the CD Multichanger which leaves 2 free unless you have a mobile phone kit fitted which doesn't work on Aux 1 - only Aux 2 Take a look at http://www.c4owners.co.uk/plugins/faq/faq.php?0.cat.2.12 for the images and wiring instructions
  2. I certainley don't drive like a granny and got near enough 40,000 miles out of the original Mitchelins on my 1.6 110 HDi VTR+
  3. C4owners is only moderated to the extent that I resize some of the images posted but located elsewhere to stop the site slowing down/failing to load if the offsite ones are missing - one of the downsides of using that method I'm afraid - but the software is being worked on to try and get over it :) Any moderation of anything else is down to wozza!
  4. Doesn't need a dealer to fit on a Hatch or probably a coupe Requires you to drill 2 holes in the parcel shelf for the roller section and put 2 clips on the body by lifting the rubber hatch seal at the top on the hatchback 10 minutes to fit tops (did mine last week) Looking at the Coupe I would assume no drilling required but an extra set of clips as you can't go drilling in the glazed area! http://c4owners.co.uk/images/c4/parts/coupeblinds.jpg
  5. I had one on a Mercedes A Class Diesel and couldn't really tell it was any different - they claimed 25% increase in power but I was dissapointed Eventually sold the thing on ebay for £10 + postage So on the plus side for Tuning Box - you can sell them on (subject to finding a buyer who want's one with a car that it will fit) but you can't with engine mapping but I'm still going down the route of having my C4 mapped next week.
  6. They did agree 20% discount for C4owner Premier Members but to be fair I didn't realise that they would come out at a weekend and assumed Monday to Friday Well actually I never asked! But to be fair to Angel Tuning if they are prepared to go out at weekends then they should be expected to charge more However if you can find a couple of mates who want their cars done at the same time then they will look at the cost again BTW - a software upgrade might well overwrite the re-mapping so make sure that your car is up to date before getting it done. In any event if it does have an upgrade that overwrites it I have been assured by Angel Tuning that they will re-do your car FREE of charge. They can't be any fairer - oh and mines being done on Tuesday :o
  7. I had a xantia years ago (company car) and the supsension leveling failed several times - the link arm at the rear to the valve unit under the boot floor was only held in place by a small clip and the damm thing failed several times until Citroen eventually upgraded it - great engine though the 1.9td - pulled like a train and the ride was good with none of the issues reported above
  8. First I've heard of Churchill doing that but they are very competitive across all ages I've built a comparison guide for the C4 only here @ Links to affiliate links not allowed however Insurance is a challenge everytime you come to renew and 'cheapest' isn't always best Saying that the best deal I got at renewal this year (wanted Business use and some companies don't offer it) was via Local Broker (Budget Insurance online) and had no issues with a claim earlier this year - service was second to none ***** You cannot link to pages with affiliate links in to make profit, no matter how nice you dress it up *** Edited by Glen
