  1. 12500 miles iirc.
  2. The label on the door pillar is fitted at the factory. I'd tend to believe it. Sounds like your tax is the right amount.

tyre pressures are on a sticker on the drivers door pillar, in bar. Should equate to 33.5 psi.
  6. To say "Citroen does not have a clue" is like saying "all Citroens are crap" which they certainly aren't. Perhaps the technician at the dealer in question is unfamiliar with this problem. Another dealer may have rectified it straight away.
  7. kfk do you do the full service for Nationwide or a lite version? Just wondered as their prices are so low.....would be nice to get a full dealer service at that money!!
  8. when you switch the ignition on you might also get an "ICE ALERT" message on the dash display
  9. never had one apart so accept what you say - a wiring fault maybe? bad earth? dashboard telltales fed from same contacts as the lamps then?
  10. mine does the same, but not always. seems to be if I accelerate up to that speed and cruise, but if I drive at say 85 then slow down to 70 it doesn't happen.
  11. I took it to mean only the outside lights weren't working as he said "working inside but not outside"
  12. My computer is pretty much spot on for fuel consumption - within half a mpg.
  13. diagnostic check - I believe so. software update - no idea. no idea if one would be needed. is it worth the extra £120?
  14. Because I don't believe they would carry out the full service for that money.
  15. Well the car went to Chevronics for it's 75k service. Their price was well below that of the main dealers. Car was ready on time and all work done. New rear silencer also fitted and advised rear tyres needed soon and probably cat pipe not long after, otherwise all ok. Recommended.
  16. COM2000 unit? Sits inside the steering wheel and handles all the commands from stalk switches etc. Did the car come from a dealer? take it back! COM2000 unit is a couple of hundred quid.
  17. have to steal iannez's answer to another post - posible duff reverse light switch?
  18. only by bleeding, i believe
  19. The rubber mounts are only £2.50.
  20. i sit my receiver aerial on the top of the door trim, instead of on the dash. it works fine.
  21. If the battery was flat then the pump can't run, I would have thought.
  22. I have a 52 plate 2.0 HDi manual estate. It is used for my daily commute which is 6 miles per day urban and 52 miles per day on the A1. I try to drive at 75mph on the A1. Doing this it averages 41mpg. This equates to 600ish to the tankful. Driving it at 60 or at 85 seems to make no difference - tyre pressures seem to have more effect.
  23. What ride level height indicator? You mean the display on the dash? Mine is never on while driving, only when you mess with the adjustment buttons.
  24. Posted somewhere by iannez I think that there was a modification kit for this. May be cheaper.
  25. Switches on and off very quickly? Doubt it. They're normally an array of high wattage resistor to drop the voltage to the motor to decrease speed - the motor runs flat out for the the given volts it gets. Even if the resistor pack has failed most designs will allow full voltage to the motor via the full speed setting........of course, Citroen could be different. Most designs incorporate a fuse, often a board mounted component, which means that the whole pack has to be changed.
