My front one does as well. Its only held on by two bolts so its quick and cheap to change but it doesn't feel very secure to me. Hasn't fallen off yet!!!!!!

The price of Fuel here is 92.9p a litre. My journey is out of town through country lanes mostly hoveering around 50MPH and not many junctions to stop hence the better economy. I always fill up when I hit the 400 mile mark but its showing two bars at that point. I don't hammer the engine as I have had a three cylinder before and they don't take the punishment so be warned. I find the car is getting better MPG and feeling faster with age. It can now pull in 5th from 35 MPH where as before you had to be over 40MPH. I've done 2,200 miles so far and its suppose to get even better :-)

Looks great with the spoiler. Think Silver is a better colour but be good to see it when you have completed it. How much was the spolier fitted?

I doubt a 3 cylinder car will go past 100K miles so you might not be able to keep it as long as you would like. I thought Students were suppose to be broke? I'll try and find the pics now.

I get 400 Miles for £26 so if your paying more than £30 for 400 miles you might have a Problem with the sensors or engine management system.

I can honestly say I always enjoy driving it. It gets me about and doesn't break down. Yet its also fairly fun to drive and doesn't cost a fortune at the pumps or post office. Cars seem to be getting bigger and bigger these days so its good to see a car bucking the trend. Why have a mondeo size car with just one person in it? 1 Ton + of metal to transport 100KGS, now does that make sense?

What are you getting MPG? Are you heavy with the right foot though? I'm getting the 62MPG but then I'm light footed and on open roads with not to many junctions. I fill mine up after 400 Miles on a tank and usaully have two bars remaining.

10,000 miles already? The value of your C1 will drop like a stone. I was quoted £172 for its first service. I went down Southend Seafront last night and was surprised how many C1's their were driving by boy/girl racers. Some had been done up very nice as well. If I ever have the spare cash I think a Spoiler, Body Kit and Alloys would be a must. Anyone got pics of their cars done up?

It was designed that a 4 Star petrol pump wouldn't fit in an unleaded car. Diesel and unleaded are the same size so it can be done I guess. Like I said on a previous posting, the biggest advantage a C1 has over a C4 is that its not made by Citroen. Hence its not in the garage like your cars having bits put on that happen to fall off a C4 everytime you go over a bump. Why compare? Why buy a Citroen in the first place, didn't you like the offerings from Toyota or Honda or even look at the JD Power Survey?

I have the same creek, it is actually the seat belt holder that is at fault. Its something inside the casing as if you move and squeeze it then the noise stops. The engine does sound like the exhaust is a bit off but its a kinda boy racer sound and does make it feel more sporty. Believe me, if the exhaust blos its a lot louder than that. I'm getting 61 MPG although my journey is out in the sticks and around the 50MPH mark without to many stops so I don't see how they got that with town driving included.

I agree, the Gearknob in the C1 is a real let down. Does anyone know if any Gearknob will fit as it just unscrews? The official C1 one is a tad on the expensive side.......

Well I have had my Citroen C1 now for two months and think for the money its great. I don't know why people with C4's keep slating it as its a totally different price bracket of car. Why would anyone buy a Citroen anyway? I only bought a C1 as its made by Toyota. I wouldn't have touched it with a barge pole otherwise. The only input Citroen had was the badge and the lights. Had to make me laugh as the only common reported problem so far on the C1 is water leaking in through the lights, Citroen can't even get the one thing they had to do right. Why are so many C4 owners having to drive C1's anyway, answer, their cars have been built by idiots and keep faling apart. Go Japanese, you'll never go back. Now about the car, I think it handles great, very very economical and looks great as well. The down sides to me is the rear vision is terrible, for a city car its a serious fault but I can live with that. Also the tyre noise is loud but if I switch to Goodyears it should make it a lot better. Otherwise I think the car for £6,500 is a real bargain. The firm ride is great as I mostly use mine out of town on twisty roads and it handles well. Engine is nippy enough. Materiels used in the cabin are great, except the gearknob. Having ABS and a CD player means city cars have come a long way. I can't recommend this car enough. Don't go just by the looks, take a test drive and you'll be hooked.
