Not at all, isn't it far better to have a spare on board to start with, delay in getting mobile again would be down to yourself or the recovery crew simply changing a wheel, your reply is on the assumption that any tyre issue would occur when garages are open, Sods Law states otherwise

What do you expect the breakdown service to do if you have no spare and the tyre is shredded

Very sorry to hear of your loss, this is just another case of Citroen not giving a toss, in total denial that there are any issues with any of their vehicles, about time they started to open their eyes by reading forums, vehicle reviews and watching Watchdog etc or they may find a gradual, but deserved, reduction in the market share

One of my earlier portable sat navs wanted me to go through a bus station when I selected 'shortest route'

Cant see it, for a start too expensive, poor range prob drops alarmingly in the cold dark winter, not everybody will be able to park within charging range especially overnight at home, what happens if there is a power-cut. Hybrid possibly, pure electric doubtful.
