  1. Thanks wozza No nothings been disconnected . The trip computer in the multifunction display is fine, must be just a glitch, I'll keep an eye on it.
  2. I'm sure this has been asked before but I can't find it. Does the trip mileage recorder in the main display reset itself? As mine has gone back to zero without any assistance from me. I have only noticed this before when it's been back to the dealers.
  3. I subscribed to Which for many years and always consulted it before buying anything, often buying there recommendations that usually turned out to be a load c**p. I think they sometimes got their tables a**e about face, I stopped subscribing about four years ago.
  4. Posted on Sep 3 2006, 04:45 AM wozza, were you just getting up or going to bed.
  5. Glad to have your input again.
  6. Same thing happened to my sill after going in for a recall. I only accepted the repair after the third attempt (contour didn't match the rest of the sill). I have it from a reliable source that this is quite common on Citroen's when they are not jacked correctly, especially the Picasso.
  7. Yes this topic has been done before. It basically worked out the coupe for singles & couples and for family orientated people it didn't prove practical so they went for the hatchback. Horses for courses really.

    Optimax

The handbook actually reccomends 98 ron for the petrol models. My brother works for a petrolium company and says performance aside the cleaning agents in them look after the engine more, agreeing with wozza.

  10. Obviously I was lucky!
  11. If it's as kfk says, ie you can hear on tickover inside the car with no radio or air con on his diagnosis is spot on. I had it when I first had mine, they traced it to the cannister valve. They removed it and replaced it and said they would find out if it was a common problem, on the way home it disappeared never to return. It's not a fault, just annoying.

    Hi There

Welcome, It's nice to have to have another mature member.
  13. I see wozza just beat me to it.
  14. Hi Marc, If you push the end of the right hand stalk (washer control) it toggles through three displays shown on your display. The first one is a symbol of a car showing mileage available on fuel left, average miles per gallon and distance to destination if set. Next is 1 showing mileage done since reset- average mpg - average speed. Most people use this between fill ups. You reset this by depressing and holding in the end of the stalk while on this setting. Next is 2 the same as above, I have not touched this since getting my car, so it shows me mileage done - average mpg and average speed since new. Again this can be reset in the same manner. I hope this helps Keith

    C4 Drawer

Not having had the drawer out I'm not sure of the configuration, but might a bit of vaseline hold it in place.

  18. bigrob If you go into the menu (on radio panel) Personalisation Configuration will appear, press ok(on radio panel). Display Configuration will appear, press ok. Choice of units will appear, you can pick litres for fuel and kph, when you have selected your units press ok then the left arrow key next to the menu button so ok is highlighted on that display panel, then press the ok button again then menu, all done. It's in the handbook.
  19. I thought that might work.
  20. :D Well done Happy motoring!
  21. GOOD LUCK! Let us know how you do
  22. Mat, I have a NW-A1000 but it's not used in the car, but have you selected the audio output to line out. Also have you hacked the volume limiter, I have and it makes a lot of difference, don't confuse this with turning the limiter off on the player this is not the same. http://www.techlounge.co.uk/96/sony-nwa300...miter-hack.html This applies to the 1000 also.
  23. As incubus said it's to do with age and convenience, fast and sporty are a distant memory, been their done that.
