  1. He has. He posted on general discussion and done what you said.
  2. I agree with Mike, no way chrome should go this early. When I clean my car I always do my chrome with Autosol Chrome Cleaner for good protection.
  3. How long will it take?
  4. Thanks wozza I didn't make it very clear. Any news regarding your spoiler?
  5. Regarding the key. When it is open it's quite easy to close it without depressing the button (which shouldn't be done), whereas my friends keys (not C4) are quite firm and almost impossible to close without depressing the button. Hope I've made myself clear.
  6. Thanks
  7. wozza What about your key. (see my original post)
  8. When does your clutch start to bite? People have commented mine seems quite high. I thought this when I first got it but now I am used to it. How firm is your ignition key in the open position? there is hardly any resistance before pushing the button in on mine to close it.

    New Clutch

But you would be late and not have a car with a clutch gone, worse off still.

    New Clutch

kfk re courtesy car, that's exactly what happened to me. The previous user failed to return it on time, so rather than let me down they loaned me a demonstrater. Mines going in tomorrow for the airbag recall, fingers crossed the courtesy car will be available So far my dealer Dutton Forshaw Maidstone have been A1.
  11. That's a relief!
  12. Mines going in on the 24th. The recall letter says "update the software of the airbags control unit, this update will enable it to take better account of frontal impacts that are below the legal thresholds for triggering the front airbags".
  13. Nothing major then!
  14. Who uses what to get a good result. Mine looks naff especially after a wash. I've tried Car Plan Original Black and their Black Trim Wax and also Auto Glym Vynil & Rubber Care, but it still looks motley. What do you recommend?
  15. Mat No I haven't, but as far as I can see the thread itself is not painted. It's almost impossible to see how they can rust, I know the covers aren't water tight but thy look pretty waterproof. Mystifying ;)
  16. The wiper arms can be moved on their splines (it's just a nut holding them on) but remember they will park higher up, equivalent to the amount you move them.
  17. Mat Checked mine today A1 condition, no sign of rust. Can't see mine being a hatchback would make any difference.
  18. At least they have some taste. http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y39/bobtim/usa_2a.gif
  19. I use mine the same way. I'm averaging 35mpg & 30mph. I use super unleaded and hope it improves as it becomes run in, only 2500 miles so far.

    Ouch!

Perhaps that's why the silver isn't a popular colour.
  25. B) Found this on the Honest John Website. What's Bad Wiper blades can come off leaving the rest of the assembly to scratch the screen. 2006 MT cars have modified wiper blades with clips to prevent this from happening. Interesting
