Hows the car going jazzster?
-
Well because I have a motability car which this will be my first I picked a choice of 3 cars because they were nil deposit and I can only drive Auto. C2 1.4i Furio Sensodrive C3 1.4i SX Auto C3 1.6i 16v Exclusive Sensodrive So I picked the C3 Exclusive because it was the top model in the C3 range and the C2 was too small really and like you said Air Con is extra on C2 VTR so the same would apply to Furio and the troubles my brother have had with his C3 1.4i SX Auto it put me off a bit.
-
At least you are getting your car earlier. My Dealer ordered my C3 1.6i 16v Sensodrive Exclusive on 16/2/05 said it will take 4 weeks and it still haven't arrived to the dealers yet. The Dealer said Citroen are way behind with their orders.
-
Well my brothers 52 2003 Reg C3 SX Auto has Auto lights but I deactivated them because he said they were coming on in the day all the time and it wasen't dark days they were sunny days aswell. Citroen seems to be upgrading their lower C3 models and taken the good stuff from Exclusive. What made you change your old C3 Exclusive? To be honest I would like to know why Citroen have taken the folding mirrors off the Exclusive models. Wonder do Peugeot keep changing the spec on their models
-
When I drove my brothers C3 1.4i SX Auto a 52 reg a few weeks ago I took over a C3 Exclusive which was going pritty fast but I did cheat a bit I used sport mode  If mine don't have a draw im going to ask why because the exclusive should have a more than the SX. Because what you said the only extras the Exclusive have over SX is the Tables on rear seats Alloys Silver Door Handels and rear number plate moulding Cruise Control Moduboard Alarm To me this is what I think the Exclusive should have. Folding mirrors 5 CD Changer where the space is in the front Rear Electric Windows And put the cream leather back on the steering wheel like the Exclusives had when the C3 first came out. Reverse Parking Sensors Because the C5 Exclusive have very all of this plus more equipment Do you all agree with me The mats my dealer do give are ones with their name on and the Citroen logo.
-
Just got off the phone to the dealer I had to phone again mind. But there is a back log on the car. Citroen are way behind on their orders. But the sales person will get in touch with them after easter and get them to get a move on, I am happy now I know the score
-
Phoned my dealer again today twice about a delivery date for my car. First call 'Sorry sir he (Sales person) is busy with a customer can you phone back in 10mins. Phoned again after 20mins Sorry Sir he is on the phone can I take your number and I will get him to phone you back as soon as he comes off the phone and that 11.45 this morning. So I have waited long enough so I have decided to come on here for half an hour. My Dealer to give free mats now and they put petrol in So your dealer might make it look like if he is doing this as a gesture of good will but may be they do it anyway. Soon see what happens with me. Will keep you informed

When me and my brother had a lift home from the garage in their C3 Sensodrive I noticed the driver put it in neutral and let it roll some times but in the manual Citroen said not to select neutral while in motion.
-
The 1.4i Automatic gear box is not very good on the C3 when you stop and say you engage reverse is still rolls forward so you got press the accelerator quickly. Many times when my brother has been parking he has nearly hit other parked cars
-
I am a bit concerned because when I do my test in mine I hope the test examiner don't expect me to drive in Manual because I use handcontrols. There again though my dealer would have advised me to go for 1.4i SX Auto if this was the case
-
I am having a C3 1.6i 16v Exclusive Sensodrive next week. But when you mention Handbreaks my brother has a C3 1.4i SX Auto and when it is still in drive and the handbreak is on it stills moves forward. Never happened on his past 2 Saxo's.

Citroen Saxo Owners Handbook Model 1 And 2
CE08LDB replied to CE08LDB's topic in Questions about the Citroen Saxo
right I see. Well mate the owners manual don't say how to im afraid. My advice is go and ask your local Citroen Dealer. Not to do it because you don't want to pay for a simple job but just ask them how can you do it. Sorry I couldn't help -
All Advance payments will be changing from 1st April 05 so if you want a C3 model you like which has nil deposit or a low deposit apply now because advance payments could either go up or down. It has gone up in the past and then back down again. So hurry. Don't forget when having a Motability car you get the following benifits. Free Fully Comp insurance for 2 proposed Driver's (Certain Rules Apply) Free Servicing Free MOT Free RAC Breakdown Cover. A New Car every 3 years Allowable Mileage 15,000 miles a year. Used to be 12,000 so its better. Miles are charged at 5p a mile if over you limit in the year but any mileage bills can either paid off straight away or can paid over 12 months intrest free! So if you want a C3 do the same as I have done. I have chossen a C3 1.6i 16v Sensodrive Exclusive which is still Nil Deposit!

Citroen Saxo Owners Handbook Model 1 And 2
CE08LDB replied to CE08LDB's topic in Questions about the Citroen Saxo
Thats a tricky one. You know your Saxo is the first I heard for its dials bulb to need replacing. What year is it? -
Hi Oliver, A friend of mine had a New C3 1.4HDi Desire Artic Steel in Jan 05. Citroen have made the Desire Model alot better. It now has colour coded bumpers. Different style wheel trims, Different Interior style on the seats. Colour Gear knob It really stands out now than it used to be because it looked the same as LX.
-
On my SX Auto it had its 20K service in Dec 03
-
I am having a C3 1.6i 16v Exclusive Sensodrive in 2 weeks. The Auto gear box on my 1.4i SX Auto went completely so it was replaced under warranty.
-
I seen one in my local Dealers showroom I really liked it. On the back of the Front Head rests the Citroen logo is on them
-
Its a hell of a big loss. If I was buying one I would either buy a Ex Demo or one which is a couple of months because a new car losses around £3,000 soon as it leaves the Garage. Citroen knows how to make their money don't they.

My brother wants one he dose. His 52 2003 Reg C3 1.4i SX Auto is due for renewal on 24/2/06. And he would really like one Im surprised Citroen haven't done a Pluriel 1.4i 16v Sensodrive Exclusive yet? But like you said the both C3 and Pluriel are different in different ways like the weight etc. How long are you keeping yours for? My local Dealer has a 54 Oct 2004 Pluriel 1.4i Tuscan Blue 10 miles on the clock no previous owners for £8,995. When I went to the dealer back in Sept when 54 plate came out to take my brothers car for repair They had a brand new Pluriel 1.6i 16v Sensodrive Tuscan Blue in the Showroom for £10,995. Now when the Pluriel came out in 2003 They had a ex demo silver and an orange one which was a month old 03 reg with 1,000 miles on the clock and they wanted £13,495 The Orange was sold a few months later for £8,995. What a difference hay. They also got a 53 Feb 2004 C3 1.4i 16v XTR Sensodrive Dark Blue 3,500 miles it was put on their forecourt in Feb 2004 for £9,995 then in the summer it dropped to £9,495 but now its £8,995
-
Lets hope Citroen don't make any more mistakes now. I heard that Citroen is stopping the C3 Pluriel is it true?
-
New Tigra I see what you mean about the boot. I know its nice to have a boot which opens electricaly but it should have a button on the key remote or you only press the button once. The Tigra to me is more of a girls car. The Pluriel can be for both Male and female can't it really. The Tigra's I have seen on the road have been female drivers driving them. Im not a fan of Vauxhall though. Like my brother passed his test in a P reg Corsa and he was going to have one but then he saw a Saxo which he found it had a better style and the Auto engine was a 1.6i where the Corsa was a 1.2i 16v Auto. Citroen have had alot of problems and with the trouble my brother have had with his 2nd Saxo and his current C3 would put some people off Citroen but as I am a fan of Citroen I wanted one. 3 of us will have Citroens in my family. My Sisters has a 52 2002 reg Saxo 1.1i Desire I helped her friend buy a Y reg Saxo 1.1i Desire he is really happy with it. My brother has a 52 2003 reg C3 1.4i SX Auto And as you know I will be having a C3 1.6i 16v Exclusive Sensodrive My older Sister has a 53 2003 reg 206 1.4i S

Thanks Ian. I like the Pluriel Exclusive. saw one in the Dealers the other day with the leather interior. It was a red one very smart. Are you happy with yours or half and half? I got 3 Pluriel Diecast Models 1/43 scale models. with the rest of my 40 Citroen Models. I got Orange Tuscan Blue Artic Steel Citroen in Italy have made a real Pluriel special edition in Pink for charity. They were putting it on ebay.
