I think they it will be the same as C3 1.4i SX Auto but a 1.6i 16v instead. Most probably the same gearbox they use for the C4 1.6i 16v SX Auto. I should imagin the Sensodrive would still be a better choice. I see the New C3 Exclusive is having colour coded mirrors. I would have liked that on mine. Which C3 do you prefere? Im quite happy with the one I got. Citroen have done what they did on the Xsara Picasso in 2004 really.

Alot of you have said what I thought to be honest but I wanted other opinions which you have given me. Citroens says the Picasso Auto does 32mpg. The C3 Sensodrive is 5 speed which is handy. Wonder will Citroen do a C3 1.6HDi 16v Sensodrive now they are not going to do the 1.4HDi 16v. are Citroen keeping the 1.4HDi 70hp on the C3 L and Desire models? I saw a Picasso Automatic for sale on ebay and I emailed the owners asking what they thought of it. Shame Citroen couldn't have done a 1.8i 16v Auto in the Picasso. Well the new motability deposits are out on 1/10/05 so will see if its high for the Picasso Auto. If he does have one I will see if he can get the Exclusive. If you can drive a manual car you do have a wider choice. Like my neighbour had a new Motability car in Jan 2005 and he wanted a car which was nil Deposit So I narrowed a choice down to 3 Xsara Picasso 1.6i LX C3 1.4i Desire C3 1.4HDi Desire So he picked the C3 Desire. When I went with him the Dealer was trying to push the C3 1.4HDi LX on him because that was also nil deposit and I said no he will have the Desire because its nil deposit and the Desire has Air Con and they added colour coded bumpers. But he would have gone along and had the LX if I wasen't there. So got to watch the dealers.

Had a ride in a Peugeot 807 the other day I found it a lovely car to travel in.
-
considering its 2.0i 16v it does the same top speed 119mph as my C3 1.6i 16v Sensodrive. I was thinking maybe its greedy on fuel. My C3 is better on fuel than my brothers C3 1.4i SX Auto

Pork Pie do you test drive alot of Citroens?
-
My brother was in the Parachute regiment and broke his back in the Parachute accident so which means his back is held by metal plates and bolts and he lost the filling in his feet aswell so which means he can't use the pedals because he would crash the car if he did because he can't feel how far he is pushing down. I have feet problems which also means I can't feel how far im pushing the pedal down. Anyway I just wanted to ask a Picasso Automatic their opinion on it.
-
the weird thing though no warning lights come on. The C2 Sensodrive owners are getting this problem aswell
-
My brother broke is back in the Army and lost feeling in his feet and that area so he can only drive with hand controls so thats why he has an Automatic. He will be changing his C3 1.4i SX Auto in Feb 2006. I suffer with feet problems aswell so I can only drive with handcontrols but I had a C3 1.6i 16v Exclusive Sensodrive. closest thing I can get driving to a manual.

Well Jazzster if you said to me a week today hows the car going I would have said ok but on Monday I was about to go up an hill and the car stalled. Now its not suppose to do that. If it happens again I will be taking it to the dealer. Apart from thats its great. Its nearly on 4,000 miles and its 5 months old on 21/9/05 Seen 5 55 plate Citroens so far

Does anyone own a Picasso 2.0i 16v Automatic?

Im Citroen mad. Citroen is my hobby but I do have 3 other favorate cars which are Peugeot 206/206CC and The New Vauxhall Tigra is a nice car but 206CC is the best out of the 3. Its funny how Citroens partner Peugeot can build better cars im so disapointed

If I was you Jez I would take it to a Citroen Dealer. You should have warranty left if its under 3 years old and under 60,000 miles.
-
same on my brothers C3 but Citroen has now caught on and it can't be turned off on C3s made from 2005. If you are driving with it off it can still beep for upto 2 miles on the C3s made from 2005

Yeah I also keep my disabled parking badge stored in there and my handsfree kit. I find it usefull no more CDS falling out of the gap when going up hills.
-
Try Ebay but even if you get one cheap you most probably still need to get it programed by a dealer
-
The CD draw used to be standard on the Exclusive but not anymore so I bought one it goes under the CD Player where the gap is.
-
I have jusy bought a CD Draw for my C3 Exclusive it was £26 with free fitting which the Service manager did for me.

My brothers is a 52 reg Feb 2003 with 41,800 miles on the clock. I can't beleave yours went like that after 20,000 miles it should last for at least 100,000 miles in my opinion. Well your Dealer shouldn't charge you because it should have been checked on the MOT. You can't extend the warranty now thats the only thing.
-
Well I have had mine just over 3 months with 2,500 on the clock. I am happy with the car but I do try and avoid the Streets with hills where I live because I feel it don't give much power on hills after you stop. When you drive up a hill say on a country road its great. You never guess my mpg showed 50mpg last week. I drove the car about 8.45 this morning down to Town and its a bit colder today and I find the gear box don't seem to like the cold god help the winter then. I was by my neighbours C3 the other day across the road and when I opend my car from by his C3 his engine made a clicking my brothers C3 does the same when its parked by mine when I open mine. I am thinking about buying a CD Draw to go in the gap.

They stopped doing the C2 1.4i Sensodrive now. The C2 owners tthinks because they have been a nightmare. They still do a C2 1.4HDi Sensodrive
-
My Neighbour has a 54 reg (Jan 2005 C3 1.4HDi Desire (New Style) and he finds the backs of the car jerks when going over bumps I said he should have it looked at. He dosen't bother having the servicing done intill the dealer sends a letter because its a motability car but I told him the service in important on all cars but even more on the HDi engines.
