just to update you, i carried out a bsi reset according to instructions ,but esp. fault still exists

hello there , can anyone please tell me what to look out for on this esp / asr system as it has now thrown up a fault , engine starts , runs a few seconds , then this esp alarm sounds and the light comes on, a few second later the directional headlamps alarm comes on to say this system faulty, i have tried to clear faults using a hand held code reader, but faults still exist, I had a B.S.I UNIT fitted about 2 years ago , have not had a problem until now, thanks for now. i will await your replies in anticipation

thanks for your help , i think it is one of the rear sensors,it happens when car is put into reverse gear

hello there, problem with parking sensors on 2004 2.0l hdi 16v c5. problem appears when car switched on , parking system faulty, was wondering if there was any way of testing individual sensors,this system was excellent when working , especially for parking in tight spots, maybe would need to take car to dealer for digonostic check thanks for now

thanks for the info lads, will . get alook at it in the morning. i also have two codes that maybe you could help me with , codes p1598 p1351.also when i clear these faults the other fault , which i have described earlier, namely ESP/ASR system faulty, directional headlamp system faulty also disappear only to come back at alater stage, may be in about 10/20 miles.this car was off the road from june to dec. maybe this is what is making my car hard to start. the car was starting ,driving well before the enforced lay up,

hello there , I am new to the forum so therefore i might not bi in the right place,so please move if need be. my car is a 2004,54 plate, 2.0 hdi.the faults are ESP/ASR system faulty, Directional headlamps faulty.when faults cleared car drives normally for a short time , then faults reappear when driving,, by the way my parking system has been faulty for some time, please can somebody help me, i bought an 09 1.6 hdi vtr+ and kept for afew months before going back to my old citroen
