By the way, Do glow plugs relate with car being driven rough? My fault code P1351 is still exist and i have decided to change the glow plugs (all four of them). Just wondering what benefit I may have if i change them...and one more thing I have replaced battery just couple of weeks ago and still i can see that car goes to economy mode , sometime i can't operate the window while ignition is on unless i start the engine.

Thanks both of you. I had sprayed the whole can and later topped up Full tank diesel with Wyn's Diesel Clean 3 as instructed. My car now runs as smooth as new though i didn't drive any brand new car yet. I can feel the difference. yesterday i drove it to 150miles (round trip) in motor ways without having Engine light on. previously whenever i used to go to motorway and drive the car in high speed, the engine light used to come on without fail and give me fault code P0238. I am happy now though vibration and other fault code P1351 are still exist. I got top right engine mount replaced. it doesn't help so must be Flywheel needs replacing.

I am confused...Can you give me any link please. and it would be good idea if that link or information can be pinned. BTW, Can you read again what you wrote and correct please.

I bought a Wynn's Diesel Turbo Cleaner professional (aerosol) to clean up my turbo..in the instruction manual it says I have to spray it in the air intake system of turbo while engine is running. So my question is which hose i need to take off and spray, on the left hand side as i open the bonnet there is an air doser and two hoses are connected with it and also on the right hand side there as another hose. is it right one that i have to take off and spray in the small turban that i can see inside or one from the left hand side. i have uploaded my engine photo with colouring circle..please someone indicate me.

I took the car to another mechanic and he unplugged all the diesel injectors one by one to check if car is loosing any power or if there is any injector not working...after that he plugged them back on and since then my vibration reduced a lot..but still I have got my top right engine mount replaced. mechanic said little bit of vibration is normal for a diesel car. but something clicked on my head. Fuel injector unplugging and re-plugging has reduced the vibration,...can i not clean the plug and the fuel injector properly to see if it improves..does anyone know how and with what to clean them?

Thanks coastline taxis. No one is doing diagnostic for the fault yet. I just have been few mechanics and they connected their small diagnostic tool to find out any code related with injection problem. they didn't find any code apart from P1351. So I am wondering if that code indicates about any fuel injector being faulty. The car has been put on the ramp and mounts are being checked, they all are fine.. finally one guy said my car sounds running by three cylinders.. .so it must be one of the injector being not working properly. The clutch pedal was vibrating since i bought this car last year October. But the whole car vibration has started few weeks ago..may be a month or so before tailgate problem.... Are these jobs DIY to clean egr valve and all the other rubber vacuum pipe?

Can fault ccode P1351 be related with Fuel injector or glow plug faulty..Every mechanic saying different stories..some saying Dmf,some saying mounting and some saying engine is running with 3 cylinder and one of the injector is miss firing which causing this excessive vibration.

I have found DMF and clutch kit for £ 300 (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/261486855392?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT) and mechanic said he will charge me £150 for the labour. But still i don't think its worth repairing as the car runs okay..only when its in idle mode the car shakes. the door and the rear side of the car keep vibrating which is quite obvious. Saturday morning I will take my car to the mechanic who repaired my tailgate wiring. he will have a good look and will give me the quote. By the way, If i would have any problem with fuel injector would it not give me any fault code? tailgate mechanic already tested the fuel injector with his machine and he said nothing wrong with them.

The guy who said me about Flywheel also said about pulley..Therefore he put the car on ramp and went underneath to check visually and found that pulley was all right. he then asked me to put my hand on the place where flywheel was to feel the vibration while the engine was running. If it is very expensive repair i won't go for it..cause i have a plan to change this car by next year around this time.

I took my car to 4 different garages today..and most of them said that may be one of the injector is not working properly. hence it misfires. he also connected his computer and found engine fault code P1351...which i already know about... .another one said a some kind of sensor which locates at the back of the engine and it's very expensive to replace..but finally my nearest one said Flywheel is gone...Now i remember this vibration(especially clutch) problem has been persisting since i bought the car..just over the time it increases a bit..So I am bit convinced that there was nothing wrong with injector or any sensor otherwise engine would have pulled up some fault codes.

I have taken my car to local garages and some of them said that may be my Fuel injector needs replacing because car is misfiring. and other guy sold me a fuel injector cleaner for £10 and said if he were me he would do this treatment before anything. well, car still vibrates and its too much. can anyone advise me if it is possible to check the fuel injector myself and if needed replace as well.

Here is the image of the place that I looked for Turbo vacuum solenoid valve.. I don't think my car has it unless it is behind or underneath the engine where it can not be seen from outside.

I am very frustrated...looked one good hour to find Turbo Solenoid Valve and couldn't find it...I will be really happy if anyine can lead me to it.

When I took my car to Citroen Dealer for boot problem they ran the diagnostic test and reported me that Car drives rough and engine light on along with tailgate wiring needs replacing. I also realised that my car really vibrates way too much when idling. the mechanic who fixes my boot wiring also said me vibration is very unusual and he connected their diagnostic machine but couldn't come up with any decision and asked me if i could leave the car for one full day for him to check..he also said it could be air intake problem. I need to mention here that am constantly having two fault codes which are P1351 and P0298. could these all be related with one specific problem? By the way, when car is on move it doesn't vibrate.

Just to update everyone, I took my car to another auto electrician and they did the job in less than 30minutes and charged me only £30. God bless him. White loom was broken and also couple of other looms were damaged..so the old man tap those looms and for white one he joined with cable joiner...Iam soo happy...it gave me lots of stress...now I am over the moon...just for £30 where other garage said it was 2 to 3 hours job and may cost me £150 to £180.. F..K..N..G. Citroen dealer wanted to rip me off.. charged me £58 just to identify the problem and quoted me £333 to replace the harness...i asked them for repair..they said it wwas not an option.

Hi jdoocey, Where did you get your tailget harness repaired or replaced, how much did it cost?

there are not to many auto electrician who can do that job,but finally I found one and they pulled the rubber tube up and found one white loom broken,but the other part was no where to be seen..so they said this job is around 3hours to repair the loom and will cost me £180, they also suggested to get it replaced with original citroen loom as repair might not last long..can you please give me the part number so I will have a look if I can find it cheaper.

Hi paul.h I am jist coming from Citroen nkw and they did diagnose the boot and found out that Tailgate wiring harness needs replacing. they quoted me £397 including 57.60 for the diagnostic. do you think if it can be done cheaper by other garage if I buy the part myself?

Hi guys, it has been a hectic day for me..went to a garage to get my boot cheked up why it was not opening..before that went to Citroen and they said it will cost me almost £200 to fix it..anyway, local guy couldn't check as they close at 7pm..so got in the car to start and it fails to start...so they used their power unit to charge the battery and now car is up and running and I bought a battery from eurocarparts just in case I need battery changing for tomorrow morning. I can see date, time on the 2nd display are jumping.. Can anyone tell me whether I need to change the battery or it will be okay itself...I got my car battery cheked up on January at halford..and guy said battery was okay.

I have the same problem since yesterday.my rear wiper,lights eveeything works except boot opening. As a troubleshoot I disassembled the handle unit (where mimicro switch is) and sprayed wd40 but nothing helped.I also spoke to Citroen dealar and they also confirmed me thay my car has no outsanding Recall..So I am guessing if I change the Micro switch will it fix the problem? I couldn't get to the wiring loom and I believe there shouldn't be any problem with it as wiper and back lights are all working even boot compartment light too. My question is can Microswitch be faulty and is it replaceable,just the switch? My local dealer has it and it costs around £29.

I opened the rear handle and cleaned the part and assemble them back but still no luck...so I don't know if it is wrong with the part..has anyone ever had this problem and how did they sort it out?

Thanks paul.h Rear wiper and all the rear lights work fine. Cant's find any wire broken too.
