I realise that my child safety gets activated and straight to deactivated when i press the control locking button from driver's door.hence the windows are not locking..even when i start driving the car i can hear the clicking sound.it locks the doors to be opened from outside...how can I make it lock from inside..it seems i got too many problems.

I feel it very annoying and difficult driving through rain especially at night time. My inside windacreen gets covered by mist and outside gets smear while wiper working..to speak about side windows,they are covered fully by mist or fog whatever u said..i tried to use demister for both front and rear . it clears the front but sound for the front one gives me headache..i turned the aircon on. It doesnt help at all.my air con gas needs to b filled. My previous cheap car glasses was excellent for the visiblity and clearing up the mist with aircon used to work like magic. Could anyone advice me what to do..do i have to learn to live with it or there are some tweaks or tips!

Hi Paul. h....its not that one that I posted. That problem was connection problem and i have taken the switch panel off and put that back, now works fine. but this is safety issue...i mean i can hear the sound of locking the windows but still its not locking..so must be some set up in the menu needs to be adjusted i am guessing.

I can hear a clicking sound when i press the lock button from the driver side control switch. but it doesn't lock the windows. My small baby plays around with the windows while she is back of the car. can anyone quickly direct me how to lock the windows from driver side control panel switches? thank you.

Its actually lower centre mounting which needs driving shaft come out for replacing. actually that's the only one mounting underneath of the car that i can see easily.

Whatabout updating the current cd player with one which has got aux port in it?

I have had my driving completed...around 30mnts...50mph in 3rd gear for almost 20mnts and in 5th gear for 70mph for 5mnts.

I have had my DPF filter topped up, Glow plug fuse relay replaced and front left Track Rod changed. basically the guy had to take out hell lots of stuffs from underneath to get the DPF tank (Why the hell Citroen made it so complicated!). he took the tank out of the car and pour 1Ltr PAT Fluid through the small pipe. the tank was almost empty. it was a matter of sorrow that I only bought 1 ltr PAT fluid. If I would know that it would be that much complicated and tank was almost finish i would have bought 1gallon. anyway, now about the resetting the computer. he did it in front of me and I think auto sensor already counted how many PAT Fluid are in the tank now. but it showed Regeneration has not been completed. for this he suggested me to take the car to motorway and drive the car in high speed for some times. IS IT RIGHT? the computer also said that PAT Fluid will be used only in motorway driving and city driving can make clog in the engine. for this not to happen- computer said to drive the car in high speed sometimes when city driving. what do guys think?

Hi coastline taxis, you were right..lower middle engine mount is loose..but mechanic can not fit it as he needs haydraulic press to push the bush in..the whole parts can not be found in eurocarparts shop..so i have to leave it..just front left Track rod is shaky..and he is going to change it.

I have decided not to chance the clutch kit because I might be ended up buying DMF too and mechanic said my clutch is not that bad. Well, for the jolting of the car I have had my car checked with my local garage and he said it could be because of Wishbone Bushes worn out. So I have ordered Wishbone Bushes and also Ball joint. who knows what is causing this problem. mechanic is not too much concern about it though. I will also have my DPF topped up and Glow plug relay replaced.

Hi, my model is C4 Plus VTR 1.6HDI 2006..I would like to know if it is possible to upgrade my cd player with one which has at least an Aux port or bluetooth function. I am also thinking to add satnav. please someone share their idea or knowledge about this car.

the car has done only 62500 miles. what about the other problems as i mentioned that car feels bit jolting/wobbling/spring back when braking and also vibrate when engine shuts off. can jolting problem be caused of having new brakes for all the wheels (7mm friction material) or suspension has a problem like what is said in M.O.T- offside front and nearside front suspension has slight play in lower suspension ball joint.

I am very suspicious about the clutch now and really need real advice. I took my car to couple of different garages and halford autocentre. all of them said there was nothing wrong with the car including clutch. but for me when I put my car in first or second or reverse gear i feel little bit vibration which is bit uncomfortable and when i turn the engine off it gives me little vibration as well. and the other problem i feel is when i brake it jolts a bit. so to compare this car I have test driven another same car and i felt that one nice and smoother. no vibration in the clutch, no vibration while turning off the engine and no jolt while braking. halford autocentre gave me one advisories. Nearside rear wheel bearing slight play --Guy from halfords said me there is nothing major and i shouldn't even feel anything for that bearing play last mot had couple of advosries offside front and nearside front suspension has slight play in lower suspension ball joint based on all of these above what do you guys think i should do?

would this aftermarket product be good? I am talking about PAT fluid which is £32 in eurocarparts shop. I spoke to Citroen and they will charge me £320 to diagnosis and top this fluid up which I don't think worth. my local garage guy said he can top it up and reset the engine computer. Advise me please.

so, is it like front screen has to set automatically running mode to get rear wiper running in reverse gear?

Hi paul.h, yea i think i am bit unlucky...one of my friend was also surprised when he heard that i have DPF in my car..but well, i have found the alternative additive in eurocarparts which is PatFluid and also not that expensive. my local garage guy can top it up and reconfigure it in he system. yes, heater plug relay ..part number 96 404 696 80. i have found one second hand on ebay and ordered it

in radio menu there is no such option. i can see only one option which is Parking assistance # Activation of rear wiper in reverse gear which was already ticked...as a troubleshoot I untick and tick again. restart the car but nothing helps. citroen dealer said it should come on when gear is put in reverse regardless of parking assistance setting.

Does anyone know if i have single wheelflyer clutch or double wheelflyer clutch in my Citroen C4 Plus VTR 1.6HDi reg: 2006. I need to buy one..so need to know exactly which one i have.

I have just spoken to citroen dealer and he said that rear wiper should come on when the car is in reverse gear..but mine is not...does anyone know what could cause this issue? Automatic wiper is activated in the menu...its just simply not working. My car is C4 Plus vtr 1.6 HDi

Hi guys, I have safely returned back to London and today took the car to garage, oh by the way, the depollution system warning light went off after wiggling of cables under bonnet or may be just itself. anyway, mechanic run the diagnostic check with his tools through OBD port and found two problems. one is a) DPF Fuel Additive running low or may be empty and b) Hitter Plug Relay damaged. so i guess, probably because of these faults it was giving me the error message. I have never heard of DPF Additive and also hitter plug relay before ..can someone tell me where can i find these ?

thank you paul.h but just to point you out, engine doesn't shake. car itself when i turn the engine off. its like little vibration when engine goes off.

Hi, I am driving back from Cornwall to London and all of a sudden depollution system warning light flashes up on the dashboard..it doesn't flash just stays on the dash...is it a problem? What makes the light come on?

but before going to economy mode the fan should run until everything goes off after showing economy mode dialogue. and it was working before as far as i can remember. other car does as well.

yes, fan works when engine is running.
