Could you give me the link for citroen trade club. if i search on google it takes me trade team which seems to be for the business owner as the form requires the information for the business name and technician and so on.

Citroen parts are far to expensive. as an example, their diesel fuel filter is around £54 which i can buy just for £18 from eurocarparts shop. all the other parts are also at least time and half more than eurocarparts shop. anyway, where to buy the fuel filter sensor from and whats the part number. where exactly its located? thanks again paul.

I have been to another garage today and their machine also picked up fuel cap sensor error (Error Code P2408). the guy suggested me to change the diesel fuel filter. from his experienced he thinks diesel fuel filter is bringing this error. So i have decided to go for servicing and also get the DPF cleaned by them. i'll buy the material from euro car parts.. paul.h could you please check the servicing material that I have selected for my C4 1.6 (110bhp) 2006 car. 1. I had my friend run the diagnostic test by MaxiSacn MS509 to check the fault of Depollution System Error for the car c4 1.6hdi 2006. It founds 5 codes which are P0093, P1351, P2408, P0087 and P0238. Somehow the Depollution System Error gone off after few minutes and he ran the test again and it brought only P2408 which is Fuel Cap Sensor error. does anyone know what is this and do I need to replace anything or this is all causing by the dpf.

depollution system error mmessage showed up again as i went to motorway tonight… i got my expert friend to drive my car and raise the speed as much as he can. The speed rose up to 85mph for few minutes and automatically slowed down with stop sign flushing on the disply for few times. Car slowly stopped and didnt move at all until restarted.. We did couple of more times and same thing happen every time. So does it mean that dpf getting blocked or could there be any other cause for this symptom?

Thanks for constant help Paul.h. one more thing, just someone suggested me to use engine flush additive to the old oil before draining. and other very important advice was to remove banjo bolt filter in the oil feed pipe which is potential thread for the turbo failure. I even don't know what is that filter look like and how can i get access to it. what do you think?

Thats why I was confused which oil to go for. Shall I go for eurocarpart or the one you recommended?

Its C4 vtr plus 1.6hdi 110bhp 2006. I gave registration nuber to eurocarpart shop and asked for the low saps.. it was a very bad day for me today. I lost my original 3button remote lock key for my c4 1.6hdi 2006. I had the other non remote key which i had to use for the rest of the day. I have all the necessary informations to make the duplicate key but wondering if anyone had the similar situation and how did they solve it and what was the damage of the duplicate key?

I followed your advice but couldnt get ELM OBDII tool work with my laptop (windows8)..anyway, i will return it.

My depollution error message gone away now..so i guess this is coming from my DPF..and i don't want to pay £40 to get the mechanic run Diagnostic test and just to tell me that DPF needs cleaning. I have ordered one basic OBD2 tool which might be delivered tomorrow. I will change the DPF, found one in ebay which is around £134.

I didnt find anyone there from London but I left a message. I dont have any garage or even private driveway to do the job..moreover i dont know exactly where its located and where to start from..do you have any vido for this job?

I have been to Margate today (72.5miles) and when i was coming back to London that depollution error sign popped up again. I put my all effort to clear the dpf but the sign didn't go off yet. last time this error appeared when i was driving in motorway too and it went off after couple of days when i was driving locally. I am wondering why am I constantly getting this error? do you think i should change my dpf to new one or clean thoroughly? my cars mileage is 63k+ and performance is as usual.

So, there is no way other than learn to live with it. I don't mind it though. if it gives me serious trouble I will replace it from eurocarpart shop.. at the moment its not that bed. but still I am looking for some one who can open and clean it in cheap price. my local guy is asking for £100 for the labour. I am sure ,I have read somewhere that supermarket fuel is not as good as Shell. and it was recommended not to use supermarket fuel to prevent dpf from blocking.

can anyone advise me how to drive diesel car for not to get dpf blocked after cleaning. like i red somewhere it says driving 2000 - 2500 rpm for 15 minutes will keep this dpf unblocked. is this that easy?

when i turned the car on this evening, depollution signs disappeared... thanks God...so now my understanding is this sign will automatically go off in due course of time..I don't need to bother too much about it, what does expert says about it? please guys share your views.

But this is temporry solution..this thing has to be cleaned every now and then and these will cost me lots of money.

Has anyone here in this forum got their DPF removed and remapped? I have spoken to couple of mechanics and both of them suggested me to get rid of it and weld it so no one can notices..i know this is illegal practice but what else we can do!

I like my Citroen C4 1.6Hdi except occasional depollution system error message. I'm having other difficulties as well..like the wing mirrors seem cover too little space..yesterday when i was changing the lane i was almost hitting a biker on my right side..i didnt see it...guys any idea of increasing the view..like changing the mirrors glass or buying any additional morror..annd also i need to buy a bluetooth handsfree speaker for my phone...any recommendatiin plz?

I was hopping that this morning when i will turn the engine off depolliyion sign will be gone off..thats exactly what happened last time..but still its there..so i am thinking to buy OBDII cable to read the code..does anyone know any good code reader cheaper in online like ma iscan ms300?

And one more thing, what is eolys fluid suppose to do..it should prevent the dpf from blocking,isnt it? i have just topped it up recently, so i shoulnt get this warning every so often.
