Guest Sticky Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 I have just purchased a 2011 C5 Tourer and have been unable to remove the Child Lock from the rear doors i.e. anyone sitting inside the car can't open the door. Tried my local Peugeot dealer (don't have a Citroen one nearby as its a Company Car) and they coldn't fix it either. Any ideas (or does it have to go back for a dismantle??) Thanks, Steve Quote
paul.h Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 Is there anything in the car handbook ? If you do not have one, they can be read/printed on service.citroen.com website. Quote
coastline taxis Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 Have you tried turning them off. Open the door and use the car key and turn the switch under the catch on the door Quote
Guest V6C5 Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 If its anything like my 2010 Tourer, the unlock and lock function for the rear door/window child locks is below the window up/down switches on the drivers door, it has an image of a half body and is the switch that stops your kids using their windows although it also stops them being able to open their doors from the inside, all you need to do is switch this off,.....????? If this doesn't work then it's back to the dealers I'm sorry to say. Quote
