wagenwheel Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 Hi! I am new to this forum. After cunningly driving my (2 week old) Berlingo in to a bollard, i could do with a little a body work advice http://singletrackworld.com/forum/my-plugins/bbcode-buttons/default/icon_redface.gif I will be taking the car to a local, non franchise, well equipped body shop. He is preparing a quote for repairing the wing and bumper, but also a quote for replacing the wing. Does anyone know how much a new (genuine) wing will cost? I much prefer the idea of a new part, rather than having body filler in a new car. Many thanks, Neil http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8389/8596624881_c4b61cca92_b.jpg Quote
paul.h Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 You could try for a second hand one in the right colour and then it would be a simple bolt on job - possibly through ebay. I can not imagine a new wing from a Citroen dealer would be more than £100 but the expensive bit is usually painting so maybe the total job could be several £100. To keep the Citroen warranty and bodywork corrosion warranty you may have to go to a Citroen dealer anyway for the repair so still check on this before committing to a repair. Quote
Johndouglas Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 Does anyone know how much a new (genuine) wing will cost? New price is £126+carriage. One from a breaker would be around £45 - if you can find one!http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CITROEN-BERLINGO-2008-ONGOING-WING-NEW-ANY-COLOUR-INSURANCE-APPROVED-/251069471641?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3a74e81b99#ht_5587wt_1083 Quote
