Guest timmy84 Posted May 1, 2013 Posted May 1, 2013 Hi all, I am new to this forum as I have just ordered my first Citroen. I ordered a 2013 Citroen C1 VTR and it is due for delivery tomorrow. I decided to ask that the manufacturer fit rear and rear side tinted windows. Now, my question is, do I have to declare this as a modification to my insurance company - or as it is fitted by the manufacturer would this count as a standard feature? Thanks in advance. Tim Quote
paul.h Posted May 1, 2013 Posted May 1, 2013 Welcome to the forum. I would let the insurance company know if it is not standard on that model and they always seem to ask if there are any changes to standard. Then, if it increased the value that is gained in the event of a claim but more importantly, if you did not tell them and there was a claim they could refuse to pay out. It is not likely to increase the premium so better to be safe than sorry. Quote
