darkar26 Posted May 19, 2013 Posted May 19, 2013 can anyone tell me why it seems i have little or no boost?and im getting po113 and p1352 codes.I have just replaced the maf so cant understand why im getting po113?I dont know what p1352 is?up on the right hand side i just replaced a solenoid that controlled the egr as i was going into limp mode, this has now been cured.I have checked the pipe all the way down to the turbo and there are no splits etc(wastegate)thankyou Quote
coastline taxis Posted May 19, 2013 Posted May 19, 2013 What scanner are you using this is what came up on ours for your codes (snap on solus pro) po113 relates to the temperature in the maf being to high. So youve either put a cheap discount store maf on or a goosed second hand one. the second code will probally be a victim of the 1st code . Quick test is to unplug your maff and see if theres any diference to the drive if there no diference then youl need to change it. Quote
darkar26 Posted May 19, 2013 Author Posted May 19, 2013 Hi, i had this code before i changed the maf with a new one, which i purchased off ebay from a seller who has sold over 60 of them.i reset the codes after i changed the maf and the solenoid as mentioned above. The limp mode has no been sorted with the new egr solenoid but this one remains?i will disconnect the maf and see what happens then get back to you.The scanner im useing is a d900 pro code scanner which has been exellent Quote
coastline taxis Posted May 19, 2013 Posted May 19, 2013 if its got live data then go into it and see what the engine is doing Quote
darkar26 Posted May 20, 2013 Author Posted May 20, 2013 yes got live data the iat is reading a constant 217 oc.This is also the fault code.I can drive the car fast and for miles without the light coming on.But when i turn the engine off after 5 mins and restart the engine check light comes on with the same code for iat? paul.h Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 AIT or IAT is the engine inlet air temperature which before starting the car with a cold engine, should be the outside air temperature about 10°C depending on where you are and time of day, etc. When the engine has been running it may go up a bit due to heat from the engine, maybe 40°C but never as high as 217°C. The MAF needs the air temp so it can calculate the mass of air entering. So, it looks as though the new MAF sensor may be faulty. Quote
