hungry110 Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 Can anyone recommend a good battery for a c3. Had a look on ebay but not sure which seem to be the best, or most reliable. Quote
Johndouglas Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 If you have a Eurocarparts near to you, one of these I would highly recommend. If you order online to click and collect you can, at the moment deduct 25% off the price, making it less than £55.http://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/c/Citroen_C3_1.4_2004/p/car-parts/car-electrics-and-car-lighting/electrical/car-battery/?444770271&1&8e2667bc954fda4e3587bf39028951d2bbf7e6fb&000020Only a couple of days ago I fitted one to my Saxo replacing an identical battery that has just expired after six years. Johndouglas Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 Have just noticed in another post that it's a petrol C3 you've got. Thought it was a diesel. This is the one you'll want - about £42.http://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/c/Citroen_C3_1.1_2004/p/car-parts/car-electrics-and-car-lighting/electrical/car-battery/?444770121&1&d63646159268500e2dacf614c9e641a4eefadd11&000020 Quote
paul.h Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 I would also recommend eurocarparts. When replacing our C3 1.4 petrol battery they were the lowest price for a good battery. I fit an Exide Excell 450 amp one since the original 300 amp one was a bit underpowered in winter to start the car. This battery is a bit longer but still fits in the battery housing and has a 3 year guarantee. Quote
