Heya all again, I have wheel play left and right, also when you hit the wheel there's a loud knocking noise.

There's no play up and down, Is this a steering rack or track rod end fail? Seems quite bad and there's quite a fair bit of knocking when you drive it.

Am not going to be checking, I just wanted a fair idea what it could be so when it goes to get fixed I don't have them fussing over nothing!

If you need a workshop manual, Haynes do not do one but you can get the Citroen ones on 3 dvds from such as ebay for about £10. This includes the parts diagrams and wiring diagrams. Whilst still under warranty though you are doing the best thing and getting any problems sorted. Makes you wonder how well a car has been checked though when you start finding things wrong just after buying.

Yea Paul, I've had nothing but issues when I bought this car.

How is this remotely possible on a 2007 car with under 49k miles?

It sounds as if it's been driven through a minefield .

Sadly I don't have a V5 yet and the MOT docs are at my other place so I can't check it.

I can say however the service book is correct with the mileage so am fairly sure it's spot on. Plus it came from a car dealer and was not a private sale.

The cars spotless and am sure you'll know the dealer when you see the plates etc.

When the dealer sent off the original V5C document, you should have been given the green bit - New Keeper Supplement. The V5C Doc. Ref. No. is on it below an address box as xxxx xxx xxxx and a date of last change. The new one you get probably will have a different no. but you may find the old one can be used.

Your car looks good and with the 2.0 hdi must perform really well. I have never managed to post pictures on here so maybe you can tell us how its done.

When you remove the AC sticker from the back window, I have found de-icer on a tissue is good at removing the glue left behind. If it goes over any heater element wires, be careful when pulling it off not to damage them.

The dealer had a issue with the V5, It was on private plates and were trying to get the DVLA to swap them back. They managed to get the DVLA agreeing to tax it with no DVLA and the DVLA has sent a new V5 to my address so I have nothing at the moment apart from my finance docs. I do have the MOT at my other house though.

The 2.0 HDI has quite the pull when you put the foot down, Love it to bits and hopefully when all the repairs are sorted it shall be a dream to drive!

You can post photos using the Image tool in text box. You then upload a photo to Photobucket or Flickr, Then copy/past the URL int other image part and off you go.

Am a mod on another fish forum that uses the same IP Board so I know my way around :P

And I will agree, I tried pulling the AC sticker off and it left some nice crappy stuff behind it so I left it there. I might try this de-icer on it.
