Hedgie Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 Hi all, Just a quick query. Considerin buying a 56 plate MkII C5 VTR. The setreo has a button marked "Tel" on the fascia but the dealer didnt know if it had a bluetooth option. How can I tell, are there onlien manuals for the stereos anywhere ? Thanks in advance. paul.h Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 I do not think it is bluetooth, you have to put a valid SIM card into it so the built in phone in the radio will work. Quote
coastline taxis Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 sorry but it will only take a 2 g sim card. A 56 plate is quite newish for cars but the technology for the phone paring is 7 years out of date Quote
seefive Posted August 29, 2013 Posted August 29, 2013 I don't think a vtr will have a sim card slot, although I may be wrong. My old mk2 had the TEL button, which meant it was compatible with a fully fitted car kit (parrot etc) Earlier RD4 radios did not have the word TEL on that button - it was used for something else, and the radio would not inetgrate with a phone kit Quote
Hedgie Posted August 29, 2013 Author Posted August 29, 2013 Cheers all I think I get it now. Have just seen a 54 plate Exclusiv diesel which seems better to me. Thios has the CD changer fitted so I might get one of these interfaces http://www.xcarlink.co.uk/product.php?productid=69&cat=12&page=1 Finding the Citroen forum a friendly helpfull place to be. :) Quote
