Hi,

Does anyone out there know any diagnostics kits like VAGcom but for Citroen?  Don't want to buy a chinese clone and looking to spend between £300 - £500.  I've been looking on google but not found anything yet...

thanks

Welcome to the forum.

Only ones that seem to be mentioned on here are the Lexia copies, lower priced EOBD, EOBD that also do live data and there is also a Sealey PSA one that adds ABS and airbags to the EOBD and live data.

Just an update on this one...I just got an email about something called a Superscan Solo: https://www.mavericktechnology.co.uk/products/superscan-solo-peugeot-citroen

It's looks like it'll cover my Berlingo and my wifes 407 really well and it's in my price range...just!...I'm going to do a bit more research but I'm seriously considering getting one...watch this space...

Hi Paul,

No, according to the website the tool does not need a subscription after the first year.

"- Solo comes with a 12 month free software subscription and any new ASM-X software release can be downloaded at no extra charge whilst in subscription
- New subscriptions are available to purchase after 12 months if required
- Solo's ASM-X software does not "Time Out" or stop working if you do not pay future subscriptions"

I've spoken to the missus and she's giving me an early xmas present - I'll let you know what it's like ;)

Just thought I'd give you an update on the Superscan Solo I purchased recently.  It covers both of our vehicles extremely well (2008 Belingo II 1.6 hdi and a 2009 407 2.0 hdi).  You have to download the software but it installed very easily and I managed to connect the bluetooth to my laptop.   This is definitely a professional tool as the amount of things it can do on both cars is incredible - full live data on all the ecu's, actuation tests on pretty much everything and lots of "special functions" which I've not needed yet but there are certainly lots to choose from.  I've also found the built-in forum really helpful as most of the people on there are independent specialists who know what they are talking about.  So far I'm more than happy and I'd recommend it to anyone wanting to get in-depth diagnostic coverage for Peugeot and Citroen (they also do Solo's for Fiat, Ford, Land Rover and Renault).

cheers
