Hi all. Hayley and Dave here (hayday) and we recently got a C3 Pic. It's our 3rd Citroen over our married life, numbers 1 and 2 being a BX and a 2CV about 18 years ago (wish we still had the dolly!) The new (ish) car is a 1.6HDI on a 59 plate and I have a question for all you budding Pic experts - the illuminated dash (orange) seems to illuminate forwards as well as backwards, making our little motor look like a cab! Any ideas plz? Ta from us :)

Welcome to the forum.

I am not familiar with your car. Are you saying the panel can be seen from the front of the car as well as from inside, if so, are they all like this or is it something that has just happened ?

On the Picasso forum there has been a similar question (copied below) and the response from other owners is that the orange light seen from the front is normal.

I have just picked up a c3 picasso selection 1.6 hdi 90 had a little drive in the dark and noticed that the when you stand in front of the car the digital instrument panel glows orange in the windscreen is this correct? Surely emitting a light other than white is incorrect are they all like that?

On my neighbour's 13 model, it looks identical to our 59 model, but his does not glow orange outwards - wondering if Citroen have modified it? Think I may have to visit Bentleys Citroen and ask. (Thank you for the advice and welcome btw :)
