Cv Joint Replacement 2009 C5 2.0Hdi

Hi, iam looking for a replacement cv joint for 2009 c5 hdi, local motor factors have one listed for my vehicle but is the wrong size, the stealers say that the whole drive shaft bar needs to be replaced??/

the cv joint has the following spec - outer spline 28 counts, inner spline 39 counts.. can anyone advise where I can obtain the correct one?

For a low cost option you may have to try a scrap yard, Citroen parts diagrams only list complete drive shafts with the joint at each end. Depending on the side, Citroen exchange ones are about £300 and new £340 (from citroencarparts.net). The eurocarparts website shows them at less than half this, £138 to £155 depending on the side.

What size engine do you have as there is a difference

In the title it has 2.0 hdi

ha ha yes it states quite clearly thats its a 2 litre and i never even noticed it.

Anyway give theese a try had a few of them and there ok 01604666713 car parts giant. the last one we got for a 2009 model came back at £80 all in
