Miffak Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 Does any have a clue where the horn is located on the Citroen C5 estate as I can't seem to locate it!A bit thick I know but just can't see it!!! Quote
paul.h Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 According to the 2001 to 2008 C5 Haynes manual, the horns are located at the front end of the vehicle and are accessed by removing the front bumper. It looks as if it is at the left side, a bit below the headlight so in the wheel arch side of the inner wing at the front. I am not sure, but it may be possible to get to it by removing the undershield in that corner. There are 2 horns, one with a high note and one with a low note, with different parts nos. Later I will move this topic to the C5 Technical subforum. Quote
Miffak Posted December 14, 2013 Author Posted December 14, 2013 Hi Paul! Thanks for that matey! I haven't gotten round to buying Haynes manual yet as only had vehicle a couple of weeks, so it's on the 'to do' list! Will have a go at under bumper panel see what I can find.Oh! Is that the left hand side as your looking from the front (offside of vehicle) or left as in sitting in vehicle (which would be near side) sorry to be thick but it would save me taking all off if I get it wrong! Thanks again Paul!Kev (Miffak) Quote
paul.h Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 Left side when sat in the car and looking out the front windscreen. Offside/nearside I prefer not to use since members may not be in the UK. Quote
Johndouglas Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 From memory I think the item I've marked with a white arrow is the dual horn. Quote
Miffak Posted December 19, 2013 Author Posted December 19, 2013 Hi Guys! Thanks for that! yes I did find them and yes there are two horns! It was a bugger to get to them but now I'm waiting for new horns to arrive and will fit! Thanks to all those who replied as it saved me lots of pulling apart before I would have found them! Wishing you all a very Merry Xmas! Miffak :-) Quote
paul.h Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 Did you have to remove the bumper in the end ? Quote
