Vin1100 Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 So i took the advise and had a diag check at dealer.. No issues found with ECU readout.. They didnt charge as no fsults were found., very nice of them. It was decided to have a flow check on the fuel and injectors are returning more than normal.. I was way off with the whole airflow symtoms by the looks of it..,,SO.. Would anyone know where the 8 digit classification number is on the injectors as haines manual mentions about re-programming into ECM..calibration i guess.. Any help is greatly appreciated Quote
paul.h Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 A reminder to anyone able to help - its a 2006 1.6 hdi C5. Was the return flow from each injector the same ? Quote
coastline taxis Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 Remind us of the reason it was plugged in please and what were the reading from the injectors Quote
Vin1100 Posted December 18, 2013 Author Posted December 18, 2013 Well 2 inj are returning higher than mormal fuel rate and the other 2 are border line according to citroen.. When warm The car would judder occasionaly on pulling away but then sort itself when throttled off slightly...Also when in use i had an occasional rattling noise after changing down to use a turn left/right which again, disappeared when throttled off... I filled up tank and added diesel inj cleaner and have run 290 miles. If im honest the clouds of black smoke have thinned and the car seems to be running smoother. But its my dads decision to change all 4 injectors. However the car does take extra cranking time when its been running for 10 mins plus....this has been the bug for all symptoms... Quote
