citroeneddie Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 Had the above come up a couple of times in display before and after 50k service (this would have been changed then) Anyone ( ehem KfK :P ) had this before and is it a simple reset on the diagnostics? Quote
kfk Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 are you sure it was changed at the 50k service?.....did they top up the eolys fluid tank aswell? Try taking the vehicle for a 15 minute run at 50mph down the motorway, with a bit of luck it will carry out a forced regeneration and clear itself....if not its a dealer job i'm afraid. Quote
citroeneddie Posted September 15, 2006 Author Posted September 15, 2006 Morning Kfk. I have been down the motorway since, so I don't think it is that. I'm going to the dealer today to have a lock fitted to the Picasso spare, I will speak to them then. I did mention before the service and they said it would be changed as routine. Just thought it may be something simple. Keep smiling :P Eddie Quote
citroeneddie Posted September 15, 2006 Author Posted September 15, 2006 Booked in for 29th September for looking at. Debbie on reception said 'not had that before'. Bless her little cotton socks :P Quote

citroeneddie Posted September 15, 2006 Author Posted September 15, 2006 Actually she has been there a while (last three years since I've been going). Don't mind, enjoy the banter. By the way, supplied and fitted lock to spare on Pic for £62 inc VAT. (Labour £33.50 plus VAT). Seems good value to me. Quote
paul.h Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 On the Picasso, where the hole has been drilled through the boot floor it will be worthwhile applying some grease on the metal edges as a rust precaution. Quote
citroeneddie Posted September 18, 2006 Author Posted September 18, 2006 Thanks Paul. I will do that asap. Regards Eddie Quote
citroeneddie Posted September 29, 2006 Author Posted September 29, 2006 Took C5 in to look at Particulate Filter, and the ELOYS fluid was fine, so they regenerated the sysyem. Could do with a bit of regeneration myself <_< Quote
citroeneddie Posted February 10, 2007 Author Posted February 10, 2007 Had the particulate filter changed and EOLYS fluid refilled yesterday on my C5 with 65k on the clock. It took about four hours to do. I pay a maintenence contract so I don't see the bill, but expect it to be at least £500. Being a New Look C5 built in 2004, it was one of the early ones that required changing at 62.5k miles, but I suspect that it is now over 100k miles. Quote
