Oldmicrochip Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Can anyone tell me what is the servicing interval for a C5 Mk3 2ltr. VTR for normal and severe conditions, the Mk2 is 25,000 miles/20,000miles?. Quote
paul.h Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 The following is for the 2.0 hdi standard operations (oil change, etc) with specific ones depending on what it is:- The mark 3 seems to depend on the year. Recent Citroens are now every year, older ones 2 years or 20k miles normal and 1 year or 12500 miles arduous. In my maintenance/warranty guide for a 2007 mark 2 C5 has 20k miles or 2 years normal and 12k miles or 1 year arduous - I do not know where your 25k/20k miles is from. Quote
Parkesie Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 My 58 mk3 2.0hdi has service interval of 20k gets a oil change every 10k just because i can. Quote
Oldmicrochip Posted March 28, 2014 Author Posted March 28, 2014 My 2005(54 reg) servicing book says 25k for normal and 20k for severe conditions, though I always do an interim oil and filter change at 6-10,000miles, keeps the engine sweet. Quote
Oldmicrochip Posted June 1, 2014 Author Posted June 1, 2014 Now got a 2010 60 registered VTR+ NAV, and the book says 20k, but I will get Oil&Filter Changed at 10k to keep the engine sweet. Quote
Johndouglas Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 For arduous conditions Citroen recommend servicing every 12500 miles or every year. Since my car gets to southern Spain each year, I treat its mileage as arduous. Quote
