Xsara 1.4 Hdi Exhaust

My 2004 1.4 HDI xsara has failed MOT for exhaust leaking. All garages around cannot find an exhaust as its a weird one, import only 1 month wait, has anyone else had this issue, i know they only did the 1.4 hdi xsara for this year before the picasso came i believe, but i need an exhaust in 10 days or I am screwed!!!

Can the existing one be welded up as a temporary measure or you could consider having a custom made one from somewhere such as this http://www.jpexhausts.co.uk/

Thank you for the pointers, I am going to ets they will try and match it, the one in the link I'm unsure if it fits the diesel 1.4 hdi , as the one the garage had delivered was for a 1.4i and it was not suitable, I will see how I go on tomorrow an if no luck will ring the place up in the link thanks guys

Ps don't want to spend too much the cars only worth less than 1k anyway but it's a shame at 30 a year tax and good mpg it's been flawless till now !!

The one in John's link is for the petrol engine and a search on that site only shows the petrol one.

 

You could also try a Citroen dealer but the parts for an exhaust are usually a lot more than pattern ones.

Citroen part nos. for the 1.4 hdi 70 hp hatchback / estate are:

rear box 1726 S8 / 1726 FG - if eurorep exhaust E12811G / E12846E

intermediate pipe 1717 T7 for both. 

However, it is worth checking using your car's VIN.
