JanisSirmonts Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 Hi guys,After my first post was fine with my new car but yesterday noticed that there is black, soft, about 5mm in diameter tube hanging out from just right of engine. Wasnt able to find where its running from due insufficient space for my oversized hands :) There doesnt appear to be any fluid leaking from it, checked it yesterday after 20min of driving and today after car being parked overnight. Is it some kind of drainage tube or something to worry about?Car details: CITROEN XSARA PICASSO EXCLUSIVE HDI (110), year 2005, engine HDI110.Here is two pictures I took from under the car.http://www.bildites.lv/images/opc4kxzu8pi6s8oxw78.jpghttp://www.bildites.lv/images/26a784rjhs967x19rsg.jpgThanks in advance. Johndouglas Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 I wouldn't worry about it. It will be a drain or vent tube you're looking at. Might be the aircon drain tube. That can give a new owner a few worrying minutes when they arrive back at their car on a warm day to see a pool of water underneath the engine. Quote
paul.h Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 If the fuel filter is above it it could be the water drain tube. Quote
