simonplatt Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 i want to fit a constant live socket, eg. a cigar lighter socket would be fine. so that i can plug in a solar charger and leave on the dashboard. where can i pick up a live feed from, or where can i pass a wire through so that i can attach directly to the battery? Johndouglas Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Find an empty socket in the fuse box that's live constantly. I've just needed to do the opposite on my daughter's Xsara. We need an ignition controlled 12volt socket. Quote
paul.h Posted June 15, 2014 Posted June 15, 2014 I am not sure about this, but having the battery being constantly charged may prevent the bsi shutting down when the ignition is turned off and the doors locked. Quote
