ffiill Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 (edited) Having determined that my rear reluctor rings are past their sell by date I set about finding replacements with difficulty. They are on a 1.4 16 valve hdi rear discs. Finally after messing around either with overpriced ones or with businesses that didn't have a clue I came across the following Danish manufacturer/retailer-anideko.comThey list item under manufacturer, type(teeth, cut outs or magnets)and ID and OD.An e mail elicited an immediate response and quote for two of aprox £23 delivered to uk!They do a wide range of vehicle types. ffiill Posted October 14, 2014 Author Posted October 14, 2014 I received the rings today so quickly checked them against the old ones. The old ones appeared segmented whilst the new ones are smooth. This bothered me when I was first trying to source the rings as I thought the old ones were passive not magnetic.I now realise that its just the surface that has rubbed off leaving the magnets bare and progressively falling off.Once upon a time Haynes manuals would have provided detailed info on such items prone to failure but not any more!As these are fitted to rear fitting is just a matter of pulling the hubs. paul.h Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 Did you try a Citroen dealer for the radial targets ? On the Citroen parts diagrams for the rear hubs they show a radial target, part no. 334909 and from citroencarparts.net, they are priced at £8.22 each, so full price from another Citroen dealer will be about £10. Are these the same part number ? Like Haynes, Citroen's procedures do not say how to replace the radial target. Quote
