Master Brake Cylinder Change

Recommended Posts

If possible it may help to bleed any air out of it before connecting up the pipework - otherwise if you get any air in the system it may need to be bled at a dealer whilst using a Lexia to get any air out of the abs system/pump/valves.

Don't think its possible to pre bleed the system and its difficult to get all the air out, I used an Ezibleed with a bicycle pump connected to it instead of the spare tyre. Don't let the reservoir go dry, don't go above 20 psi and get someone to pump the brake pedal as well.

Each time you start bleeding you must start the engine otherwise you are wasting your time!
