Welsh gaz Posted February 22, 2015 Share Posted February 22, 2015 Ive just bought a saxo vtr and just noticed the interior light not working when doors are open but it works when you put light on full could it be a fuse or a broken wire. Citroen interior light switches usually have 3 positions, off, on for a set time when the doors are opened/closed or the ignition is switched off, on all the time. So it could be the switch needs to be in a different position. There is also economy mode - after the engine is switched off the electrics to things such as the interior lights/radio/windows work for up to about 30 minutes depending on how well the battery is charged - this Citroen/Peugoet feature is to prevent the battery going flat if something is left on.
