Brian50 Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 I have a 2012 c5 1.6 THP my first Citroen. Can anyone tell me is it normal for the to blow out cold air through any vent unless I have the temperature set to 23 degrees or higher. Any advice would be grateful. Quote
coastline taxis Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 sounds like the stepper motors on the heaters could be on there way out. quick google will give you all the info you need Quote

coastline taxis Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 have you got anykind of warranty with the car Quote
paul.h Posted April 30, 2015 Posted April 30, 2015 The standard Citroen warranty is 3 years so it could still be covered. Quote
paul.h Posted May 4, 2015 Posted May 4, 2015 I would visit your Citroen dealer and let them have a look at it since the warranty should cover it and if you tried to do a fix and messed something up, then they could find a way out of the warranty. Quote
Brian50 Posted May 9, 2015 Author Posted May 9, 2015 Thanks I have not touched anything but I have notived since my posting is the drivers side has to be set to 23 degrees to get the same temperature as the passenger side which is set at 21 degrees. After reading Car Mechanics this month who have an excellent aryical on c5 heaters I Think it could be the stepper motor at fault on the drivers side. I will take it back to the dealer for them to fix. Thanks Quote
