tims84 Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 (edited) I had my DS3 back today after going in for a new gearbox. Broke down after 8000 miles and was repaired under warranty! Anyway... Since picking the car up the Eco feature isn't working and all I get when I release the clutch is a few flashes of the Eco light but doesn't go into stop mode. Temperature conditions etc have been fine so nothing obvious that would stop this working. Any ideas? I called the dealer to let them know but they said I probably just need to drive it a bit before it works again. I drove 30 miles since getting the car back and still nothing. In addition the biting point seems significantly higher since the gearbox was replaced. No work was done to the clutch, so is there any explanation for this? Thanks Tim Edited September 25, 2015 by tims84 Quote
Johndouglas Posted September 26, 2015 Posted September 26, 2015 Can't help you with the problem but it's the dealer's job to give you satisfaction. They are just dodging their responsibility. Quote
tims84 Posted September 26, 2015 Author Posted September 26, 2015 I called them again today, however they're now telling me I need to drive around the whole weekend before it works again. Very weird... Quote
paul.h Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 The biting point on the pedal may possibly have changed if the clutch master/slave cylinders have been bled and there was some air in them. If the battery voltage is down this may prevent the stop/start working - possibly due to the car not being used for a while. You could check its voltage, should be about 12.5 volts before running the engine. Quote
