Welcome to the forum.

A couple of topics to look at

leaking steering racks seem to be one of the common problems and unless you get a low mileage car, the dpf and eolys fluid wil be due to be serviced.  You need to allow a few hundred pounds for each of these if you do not have a warranty and the servicing is not up to date.

If your going for a mk3 then unless you get the exclusive model then you wont get the hydraulic suspension youl get springs and shockers. also if you get a auto then let the dealers change the gearbox oil once a year and the box will be fine. heres a few for you
