Does anyone know where, other than Citroen, I can get a part number? I need a part that Citroen are charging £300 for but I can get from breakers for £80 but it needs to be the exact part number.local dealer refuses to tell me the part number. I would need to take the dashboard apart to find it myself.

One thing you will find, part numbers stamped on parts are normally the manufacturer's number and not Citroen's or Peugeot's part number. If you look on ebay it is best to search with the Citroen part no. but some sellers use the manufacturer's no.

What part do you need ?

Many thanks folks. It's the drivers airbag igniter which is part of the "stalks" part and has to be an exact part number match. I'll register with above. And thanks again.

I got the part number by registering with Citroen service so many thanks. It saved me ordering the wrong part! There appears to be only one on eBay and it's in Slovenia?' Anybody had any experiences of buying car parts from Eastern Europe via eBay? I'm tempted but wary!!!

Will a part from outside the UK be for a left hand drive car ? I do not know about the comms unit (or its air bag if that is the problem) but this may be relevant for some parts.
