chunkymunky1988 Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 Hi all, my friend has a 52plate citroen c3 and her wipers stopped working. On Wednesday I went round to have a look, using a multimeter I found that there was power getting to the motor and no blown fuses but the motor didn't move. I took the motor and linkage out and connected up to the battery and it started moving but once again when back in it wouldn't work. I stumbled across another post claiming the bsi reset had worked so gave it a go and hey presto all was fine but then last night they stopped working again. Any ideas what may be causing this to happen? Many thanks Quote
coastline taxis Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 only way to be sure is to do a actuator test using lexia or a top end scanner. As it could be anything from a lose wire/wiper stalk/bsi/fusebox Quote
paul.h Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 Maybe the motor brushes are worn. A replacement one from a scrap car may be the lowest cost option. Quote
