VinceOne Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 Hi, members etc I own a 2002 Citroen Xsara Picasso 1.8 Petrol exclusive. My electric horn produces a very weak sound, as if it had laryngitis. I was intending to replace it with a new one, but then decided to get a low and high sounding combination. Today I had a look at the Haynes manual and discovered that according to that the front bumper needs to be removed to gain access. Is there a way of replacing the horn without going to all that bother. (I'm a pensioner, and don't fancy tackling that.) I bought a set of twin horns, according to the original type fitted. I would appreciate any input. VinceOne Quote
paul.h Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 Welcome to the forum. Bumper removal often does not take long so if you had to pay a dealer to do the job it would be well under 1 hour in total for labour. Quote
coastline taxis Posted December 6, 2015 Posted December 6, 2015 You can adjust the tone of the horn by the screw on the back of the horn itself. its probally just worked loose Quote
VinceOne Posted January 29, 2016 Author Posted January 29, 2016 Further to my question about the Xsara Picasso horn - where could I relocate the horn, and then just install a feed wire up to it? VinceOne Quote
