ajax5942 Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 I have just taken delivery of a new C4 Flair. The cruise control and speed limiter both have 6 memorized speeds which are set to 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80 and 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70 respectively, by default. It is possible to customize the memorized speeds and I have tried to do this. However, once the engine is shut down and then restarted, all the memorized speeds return to the default values. A friend of mine has a C4 Picasso with the same feature and customized memorized speeds are correctly maintained permanently. Has anyone else seen this problem? Is there any easy solution or workaround? The dealer has been no help at all. Quote
Johndouglas Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 At a guess it's probably something that can be altered by Lexia. It's surprising the dealer didn't know. Quote
paul.h Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 When changing the memorised speeds have you followed the procedure in your handbook ? Our C4 handbook has the procedure on page 155 and using the radio is as follows (I think the engine may need to be running but the car parked):- Press MENU button- select the Personalisation-configuration menu and confirm (use OK button)- select Vehicle parameters menu and confirm- select the Driving assistance line and confirm- select Speeds memorised line and confirm- modify the speed (probably done using the arrow buttons)- select OK and confirm to save the modifications (must mean to use OK button twice) Quote
ajax5942 Posted February 2, 2016 Author Posted February 2, 2016 Indeed, I have followed the procedure in the handbook exactly. I have even reset everything to factory defaults and started over again (several times!). I also made sure that the procedure followed in my friend's C4 Picasso and in my C4 were identical. Quote
paul.h Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 Looks as if you will need to go back to the dealer and get their service department to do a diagnostic check. There may be a setting that needs to be changed so it does not keep going back to default values. Show the service people the handbook so they know it is not right. Quote
