freddie Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 Can anybody send me a link for the technical details to replace the timing belt on the C-Crosser 2.2 diesel '57 plate please? I know it's about 4 hours but can't find a link for the job details Thanks Quote
coastline taxis Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 if you havnt done one b 4 then i wouldnt. if you done them before then just pin the engine or put your own markings on it to . its a straight forward job Quote
freddie Posted April 18, 2016 Author Posted April 18, 2016 I wouldn't be doing it, the garage I use would do it. They are used to doing timing belts on all makes/models just not had one of these before and don't have access to a technical so unsure what they might find. think they are just concerned there would be something unusual/unfamiliar when they started the job. paul.h Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 You could get the Citroen service box manual on 3 dvds through ebay to put on your pc, then you will have all the procedures for your car. If the garage is unsure, then what guarantee will you be getting the work will be done correctly - maybe you need to go to a Citroen dealer or specialist. I vaguely remember something about being careful when undoing the crank pulley bolt so it does not snap. Quote
